A working group for the immediate resolution of Railway issues was set up at the initiative of the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Christou Staikouras, in which representatives of all the involved entities of the Greek railways will participate.
The goal of the “Task Force” is regular cooperation and the best possible coordination of actions to immediately address outstanding issues and improve the operation of the Railway, as stated in the relevant announcement.
In particular, during a broad meeting, held at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, it was decided until September 15, that a final proposal for a Framework Agreement be formulated by the agencies, which will regulate all pending matters between the parties.
The ultimate goal of the effort is to have immediate results for the upgrade of the services of the transport project provided, for the benefit of passengers and all users of the network.
