The situation in Evros remains difficult, since the fire in the forest of Dadia has been burning for the 14th consecutive day, having reduced hundreds of acres of virgin forest to ashes.
The efforts of the firefighters are now concentrated on the north-eastern front of it, i.e. to the left and above Soufli. On Thursday night, a 112 warning message was even sent to the residents of Soufli, who were on the lookout all night.
