For firefighters and the the refugee children painted burnt victims who live in the “Frixos” Hospitality Center for Unaccompanied Minors of ARSIS – Social Organization for Youth Support in Alexandroupoli to show their support for those affected by the devastating fires Evro.
The unaccompanied children design the packaging of the meals prepared by the volunteers in the Reading Room of the Democritus University of Thrace in Alexandroupolis, where the Social Kitchen “The Other Man” cooks for fire victims and firefighters.
In particular, minors decorate the packaging with phrases such as “you are my hero”, “together we can”“I wish the fire would go out”, “you are not alone”“we’ll always have each other”, “we love you”but also many wishes for peace, unity, solidarity, coexistence, acceptance and love.
The “Frixos” Hospitality Center for Unaccompanied Minors of ARSIS – Social Organization for Youth Support in Alexandroupolis is subsidized and operates within the framework of the Greece – Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (TAME) program of the European Union.
