The temperature will drop significantly
The weather will worsen tomorrow, starting from the north and gradually affecting the Ionian Sea and the rest of mainland Greece, according to the National Meteorological Service.
Local rains and sporadic storms will occur initially in Macedonia and the northern Aegean and gradually in the rest of the mainland and the Ionian.
The effects are likely to be intense in places.
In the rest of the areas, sparse clouds will gradually thicken and in the evening in the southeast, local rains are likely to occur.
The winds will blow from north directions 4 to 6 and off the Ionian and gradually in the northern Aegean locally 7 Beaufort, while from the afternoon in the Ionian they will turn to east southeast with the same intensity.
The temperature will drop significantly in the north and in the west and in central Macedonia it will not exceed 24 degrees, while in eastern Macedonia and Thrace it will reach 26 to 28 degrees Celsius.
In the rest of the country it will reach 28 to 30 degrees and in the southern island country in places 31 degrees Celsius.
On Tuesday, clouds with rain and sporadic thunderstorms are forecast for most of the country. The effects in the central and southern areas will be strong in places.
The winds will blow east northeast 5 to 7 and in the northern Aegean probably locally 8 Beaufort and only in the southern seas will blow east southeast 4 to 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will see a slight further drop mainly in the central and southern regions.
On Wednesday in the eastern island country, temporarily increased clouds with local rain and gradual improvement are forecast. In the rest of the country increased clouds with local rains and sporadic storms, possibly temporarily strong in places in the central and southern areas. The effects will gradually weaken in the north.
Winds will blow east northeast 4 to 6 and on the seas locally up to 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will not change appreciably.
On Thursday in the north and east of the island country a few clouds are forecast, locally increased in the midday and afternoon. In the rest of the country, temporarily increased cloudiness, with local rains in the eastern continental areas and the south where temporary storms will occur. The effects will gradually fade.
