Yiannis Chocholis, in turn, thanked Mr. Hatziioannou and his colleagues and added: “I believe that the businesses that stand out are the ones that don’t stop trying and offering. Today I think that our effort is being rewarded”.
“I am very happy that for another year we awarded and honored young entrepreneurship”said in turn the sir Stelios Hatziioannou and added: “The applications we received were truly impressive and filled us with optimism that young entrepreneurs in Greece are full of passion, vision and imagination. And this is something that personally moves me. I wish the awardees to continue their activities with the same passion and dynamism. The Stelios Awards for Young Entrepreneurs will continue to firmly support the effort of young entrepreneurship in Greece and remain relevant, as I personally will remain next to young entrepreneurs. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees. This year we received 46 applications, which made choosing the top three very difficult. I encourage candidates to apply next year as well if they meet the criteria. Two of the three winners this year have won our awards again and I am particularly pleased to be giving them a better award this year as they have progressed in recent years. None of these three businesses would have been possible 10 years ago, as they are all “new economy” businesses, while two of them did not even exist 3-4 years ago.”
