The Armed Forces are actively assisting in the collection of dead animals from areas of the law affected by the ‘Daniel’ effect
The ‘Armed forces help deal with its effects bad weather in Thessaly actively participating, among other things, in the collection of dead animals from areas of the law affected by the “Daniel” effect.
In particular, 413 people have been allocated, 28 people from the Special Interbranch Nuclear-Biological-Chemical Defense Response Company in 5 groups, 80 graduated Civil Engineers, 5 Health Officers as well as 40 people for the removal of dead animals.
They also operate 72 project machines, 70 general purpose vehicles, 4 Nuclear – Biological – Chemical Defense vehicles, a bridge, 8 generators, 31 rescue boats, two ambulances, nine buses, seven helicopters and a tanker.
For the needs of the affected citizens, 88,135 liters of fuel, 1,140 ranches, 1,540 blankets, 400 rugs, ten tables, 42 chairs and five tents have been allocated.
On hand are 1,173 personnel, 19 project machines, 145 general purpose vehicles, 78 buses, a C-130 aircraft, an NH-90 helicopter, a fast transport ship.l while the Platamonas Health Loss Replacement Centers (HARCs) have been made available, Malakiou, Leptokarya and KEDA Skotina for hosting the affected.
