Problems are observed in the traffic of vehicles in parts of the mountainous road networks in Achaia, Etoloakarnania and Corinth.

Family trapped in snow in Manesi

A family with two minor children was trapped due to heavy snowfall on the Patras – Kalavrita Provincial Road near Manesi.

The driver, according to information from thebest, had no chains and so needed the assistance of the Fire Service to leave the scene safely and be transported to their home in the municipality of Erymanthos.

Prohibition of heavy vehicles in Morea from Corinth to Kalamata

In a meeting held today under the Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Christos Stylianidis, on the occasion of the worsening weather, it was decided to ban, from today until 8 tomorrow morning, the movement of heavy vehicles on the MOREAS highway, in the section from Corinth to Kalamata.
