Twenty-two people were arrested, in total, yesterday, Thursday, September 21, during intensive checks by special crews of the Hellenic Police before the football matches in OAKA and “G. Karaiskakis”, according to a statement from ELAS.
The controls were carried out in the context of ELAS actions to deal with violence with a sports background, on the basis of both preventive and repressive action.
Those arrested have been charged, on a case-by-case basis, for violence against officials and judicial persons as well as violations of sports, weapons, flares and drugs laws.
Specifically, during checks outside the OAKA stadium, 21 people were identified and arrested, as cannabis with a total gross weight of 18.2 grams, 10 improvised cigarettes with cannabis, 5 graters, with extracts of cannabis, 6 hand-held lighters were found and confiscated. laser and laser beam emitter and multi-tool with 5.5 cm folding knife blade.
