Controlsfor the detection of violations of labor – insurance and tax legislationwere carried out between September 22 and 24, 2023 by Directorate of Economic Police and the Sub-Directorate of Economic Police of Northern Greece.

The controls were focused in Attica, specifically in Voula, Vouliagmeni, Glyfada and Nea Smyrni, as well as in Toumpa, Thessaloniki, in shops of health interest, where violations were confirmed in a total of 7 cases.

In particular, in the context of the controls, it was found:

In Glyfada Attica:

  • in a snack bar-patisserie, to employ an employee outside the declared working hours and
  • in a restaurant, to employ 3 workers outside the declared working hours.
  • In Voula Attica, in a cafe-bar, to employ an employee outside the declared working hours.

In Toumpa, Thessaloniki:

  • in a canteen, employing 7 workers outside of the declared working hours as well as not issuing 6 receipts,
  • in a cafe-bar, to employ an employee who was not registered in the personnel tables, as well as the failure to issue 3 receipts,
  • in a cafe-bar, employing 5 workers outside of the declared working hours, as well as not issuing 3 receipts and
  • in an ouzo restaurant, failure to issue 6 receipts.

For all cases, the competent services (S.E.P.E., D.O.Y., P.E.K.A.) are informed for the imposition of the corresponding administrative sanctions.
