Despite the decision of the Regional Governor of Attica, George Patoulis, schools in Attica to remain open, the mayor of Oropou decided – due to the bad weather – not to operate any schools (including nurseries).
Schools are closed and in Tribe Municipality following an urgent announcement issued by the municipality early in the morning.

URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT (at 06:16):
Closed today September 27, 2023 all schools in the Municipality of Fylis Closed, due to the dangerous weather phenomena, will remain today, Wednesday, September 27, 2023, all the schools of the Municipality of Fylis, in the Municipal Units of Ano Liosion, Zephyrio and Fylis.
The relevant decision was taken by the Mayor of the Tribe, Christos Pappou, and includes Kindergartens, Kindergartens, Primary Schools, Middle Schools and High Schools. Parents are requested, in the context of the relevant warning of the Ministry of Civil Protection, to limit their movements to those that are absolutely necessary.
