On Monday morning, EINAP president Matina Pagonis spoke about flu vaccines. She clarified that there are six vaccines, two are enhanced and the remaining four are simple.

“We will take the two enhanced ones only with a medical prescription, the remaining four, we will take them from the beginning of November without a prescription,” he said on the SKAI show, “Today”.

“The enhanced ones, with a prescription, concern people over 65, because they have underlying diseases. Boosted means they have a higher dose of inactivated virus, these vaccines will help people who have underlying diseases,” he explained speaking on the show.

Regarding simple vaccines, he stated that “we will take them until the end of October with a prescription, and then without a prescription”.

“It is good for those in the high-risk unit to start vaccinating from October 20,” he added.

14% increase in coronavirus cases

Regarding the corona virus, Mrs. Pagoni stated that instructions will be given by the vaccination committee.

“We have a 14% increase in cases and for hospitalized patients. Let’s be especially careful with masks and antiseptics.”
