Detainees they were judged after their apologies the two Turkish nationals, who were arrested as being involved in the murderous ambush against their six compatriots, at the beginning of September in Artemisa.

The two defendants, 32 and 28 years oldwhose apologies began at two in the afternoon yesterday and ended today after midnight, are said to have been among the group of executioners who committed the mass murder of their countrymen who were ambushed.

After the apologies, an investigator and a prosecutor sentenced them to temporary custody the two foreigners who are facing an indictment regarding serial and accessory homicide and violation of the arms law.

According to information, both accused, who apologized without filing a written statement, deny that they participated in the mass murder.

As for the 32-year-old accused, who is attributed to having deliberately led the six victims to the scene of the murderous ambush, he allegedly denied before the judicial officer that he turned against them. The accused reportedly admits he was the driver of the blue car with German plates found at the scene of the attack, but denies murdering the six, claiming they were his friends. Among the documents that he seems to have presented to support his claims, he cited the report of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations which states that no traces of gunpowder were found on his clothes.

The second defendant reportedly said that he did not know any of the victims, while denying his presence at the scene of the mass murder.
