6 compatriots of the victim are accused in the case, of which 5 were arrested pursuant to arrest warrants
The murder case of a 35-year-old man was solved of a foreigner, whose body was found on March 22 at midday in an outdoor parking lot in Aspropyrgos, Attica.
They were arrested for the caseby virtue of relevant warrants, in Peristeri and Agios Ioannis Rentis, Attica, five foreigners compatriots of the victim, while the file that was formed includes one more person.
The identity of the victim was verified by dactyloscopic verification, which at the initial stage of the investigations were unknown, while the autopsy carried out where his body was found yielded important information that led to the clarification of the case.
This was followed by an appropriate evaluation and utilization of informative and pre-investigative data, from the further analysis of which the involvement of the accused was established.
Specifically, the homicide was found to have taken place in Peristery, while it was further revealed that the defendants were also involved in transporting the victim’s body to the area of ​​Aspropyrgos.
Those arrested will be taken to the competent prosecuting authority.
