Classic 1963 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso is being auctioned off on the Bring A Trailer website with the highest bid exceeding $1.22 million.
This particular model is number 32 of 350 built during a limited 18-month production run. Originally completed on May 24, 1963 and delivered in Milan, Italy, the car has traveled long distances since then, arriving in the US in the early 1980s.
THE Ferrari 250 GT Lusso, first introduced at the 1962 Paris Motor Show, it was the automaker’s final tribute to the iconic 250 series.
The auction car has its factory appearance thanks to a series of rebuilds carried out over the years, most notably the engine swap with a 3.3 liter Colombo V12 from a 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB.
Repair records and removed parts are also being auctioned.
