The 43 persons who will sit in the municipal seats of the Thessaloniki municipal council, from January 1, 2024, have been announced, according to the estimates so far and the official announcements of the cross-pollination in the self-governing elections by the Court of First Instance of Thessaloniki.

From the faction “Team for Thessaloniki” of the new mayor of Thessaloniki, Stelios Angeloudis, the following 26 councilors are elected:

From the faction “Yes to Thessaloniki” of the outgoing mayor, Konstantinos Zervas, he and six other municipal councilors are elected as head. These are:

  • Ephraim Kyrizides (1513),
  • Socrates Dimitriadis (1509),
  • Konstantinos Iakovou (1411),
  • Michalis Kupka (1381)
  • and Mina Samantzidis (1323).

The faction “Thessalonica for All” elects five municipal councilors: the leader, Spyros Pegas, as well as the former mayor of Thessaloniki, Yiannis Boutaris, who emerged as the first municipal councilor from all the combinations, receiving 5,596 crosses.

They are still elected

  • Elli Chrysidou (1414 votes),
  • Michalis Tremopoulos (1208)
  • and Elizabeth Alatsidou (921).

The “Popular Rally” has two councillors, the head of the faction Vassilis Tomboulides and the first in crosses Michalis Konstantinidis (1048 votes), while the last three seats are taken by the heads of the factions that exceeded the electoral threshold of 3%, Drosos Tsavlis from the faction “Alli Us”, Maria Keki from “Poli Anapoda” and Stergios Kalogiros from “Thessaloniki Makedonia”.
