The immediate pre-investigation actions of police officers of the Department of Crimes against Life and Personal Freedom, with the assistance of police officers of the Violence Prevention Sub-Directorate in Sports Facilities of the Thessaloniki Security Directorate, led to the arrest of a person involved in a homicide case. .
As it is clarified, this is a 23-year-old foreigner, who was located and arrested after a thorough investigation and diligent search.
In addition, in the context of the investigation of the case, it was carried out legally research in a Fans Association sports team in the city center, during which were found and confiscated, among others:
• Folding knives,
• Helmets,
• Hand sparklers,
• Crackers,
• Various tools (shovels, hammers, forks, etc.),
• Metal pipes,
• Wooden bats
The arrested person will be taken to the competent judicial authorities, while the police investigation – pre-investigation continues.
