Tragedy for a family in Kato Achaia, which mourns the loss of two children over the course of a year. A young mother gave birth to two little angels within two years, which however ended after a few months. In particular, the two little girls aged 20 days and two months, respectively, breathed their last over a period of 15 months.
Last week after several days of hospitalization at the “Agia Sophia” Children’s Hospital, where the two-month-old baby had been transported with convulsions, and while his clinical condition did not indicate anything alarming, he passed away.
According to pelop.gr, the mother after the tragic outcome and since the tests carried out on the little girl during her stay in the Hospital did not detect any serious health problem, informed the treating doctors that a year ago she had lost another child. It was about the only 20-day-old baby and the first child of the family who “ran away” in July 2022 under unclear circumstances.
From the autopsy performed at the Forensic Service of Patras, no conclusions were drawn about the circumstances and causes of his death.
According to pelop.gr, the forensic report does not state the cause of death, pending the results of toxicological and histological tests.

There are reports that the grandmother has lost another girl, who due to the criticality of the situation, was air-baptized.
