New information surrounding the circumstances of the sailboat accident that occurred last night, Wednesday (25/10) in Evia, is coming to light. An inspection of the sailboat did not reveal any mechanical damage, contrary to what its skipper had claimed. , of Canadian descent.

The information states that while the old bridge of Chalkida was closed to navigation, under unknown circumstances, the sailboat found itself near the bridge and attempted to cross it, causing it to crash and break its mast.
