At the Eleftherios Venizelos airport where they arrived on a flight from Italy, 21 Italians, members of far-right organizations, who traveled to Greece to take part in a gathering scheduled to take place in Neo Heraklion on Wednesday afternoon, on the occasion of the ten years, were identified and arrested since the murder of two members of the Golden Dawn. The 21 Italians were taken to the Directorate of Foreigners and administrative deportation proceedings will be initiated against them for reasons of national security.

In particular, and according to police sources, at the request of the Greek authorities, following information that members of far-right organizations abroad would respond to a call for a gathering planned for Wednesday (01/11), there was information about an air trip of 21 far-right Italians to Hellas.

The Greek Police acted immediately and upon their arrival at the “Eleftherios Venizelos” airport in the evening hours of Tuesday (31/10) they were arrested and taken to the Directorate of Aliens, where they are detained, in order to start the process of administrative deportation against them for reasons of national security .
