Bulldozers today demolished a building inside the Parnitha National Park in the “Kalamara” location of the Municipality of Fylis – 15 more properties will follow in coastal areas, beaches and forest areas
Today, Wednesday November 1, 2023, the Ministry of Environment and Energy launched a large program of execution of the demolition protocols, which are final, with the aim of dealing with arbitrary construction.
In particular, the program in question starts, as a pilot, from Attica with the demolition 16 properties located in beachcombers, beaches and Woodland and is to be expanded to other regions of the country.
The beginning was made today, with the demolition of a property – within the Parnitha National Forest in the position “Squid“, District Municipality of Fylis – which is expected to be completed tomorrow.
It is noted that the program is financed by the Green Fund and implemented by the decentralized administrations.
The Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Thodoros Skylakakis, stated: “A prerequisite for the proper application of the urban planning legislation and for the reforms that must be made in the urban planning legislation is the principle of legality.”
