In arrest of six people belonging to extreme right and they were preparing to go to Athens to participate in the gathering of members of the Golden Dawn for the ten years since the murders of two members of the organization, police officers went to Thessaloniki.

The police found them on Wednesday morning (1/11) while they were in Nea Chalkidona and were preparing to start their journey to Athens.

Members of “Casa Pound” the 21 extreme right-wingers arrested in Eleftherios Venizelos

The 21 extreme right-wingers who were arrested yesterday at the airport and are being held in order to be deported they belong to the Italian neo-fascist movement and former political party “Casa Pound”.

It is recalled that yesterday traveled to Greece in order to take part in a gathering scheduled to take place in Neo Heraklion on Wednesday afternoon, on the occasion of the ten years since the murder of the two Golden Dawn members G. Foudoulis and M. Kapelonis.

The 21 Italians were taken to the Directorate of Foreigners and administrative deportation proceedings will be initiated against them for reasons of national security.

In particular, and according to police sources, at the request of the Greek Authorities, following information that members of far-right organizations abroad will respond to a call for a rally that was planned for today Wednesday (01/11)there was information about an air trip of 21 far-right Italians to Greece.

The Greek Police acted immediately upon their arrival at the “Eleftherios Venizelos” airport Tuesday evenings (31/10) they were arrested and taken to the Directorate of Aliens, where they are detained, in order to start the process of administrative deportation against them for reasons of national security.
