From Tuesday (7), Pizzeria Speranza will offer two new flavors on the menu to celebrate its 65th anniversary: carbonara and fresh tuna.
Creations by chef Francesco Tarallo, both were inspired by Italian cuisine.

In the carbonara, for example, sold for R$100, Tarallo combined fresh mozzarella with slices of artisanal pancetta. Complete the pizza with black pepper, grated Parmesan and egg yolks, placed on the dough when it comes out of the oven.
The tuna pizza (R$110), called tonno fresco, also includes fresh mozzarella, but with slivers of fresh cooked tuna. On top, it has Paris mushrooms and slices of red onion. It is finished with pesto sauce.
The two new creations have Neapolitan-style dough, with long natural fermentation, baked in a wood-fired oven.
“The purpose of the new pizza seasons is to present new toppings and submit them to customers’ appreciation, delivering new things without losing our identity”, says the chef.
Speranza organizes a competition for the pizzas most loved by customers. Those that receive the most votes will enter the house’s permanent menu.
