The prosecutor ordered a preliminary investigation into the death of the 24-year-old woman who was found dead on October 25, 2023, in the bathroom of the apartment where she lived, in the area of ​​Panagia Laodigitria, in Thessaloniki.

Her death – according to the forensic findings – was attributed to an electric shock, while the prosecutor’s order moves in the direction of looking for any criminal responsibilities.

Under these circumstances, the head of the Thessaloniki First Instance Prosecutor’s Office, Dimitris Smyrnis, instructed the criminal prosecution prosecutor to order investigation by the Life Crimes Unit of Thessaloniki Security. The crimes being investigated are hers fatal exposure as well as any other act (for life) resulting from the investigation.

In the written order to the Security, it is requested to present the expert reports and autopsythe forensic investigation and the available results of the histological and toxicological tests.

According to information, as part of the investigation, relatives of the 24-year-old woman will be called to testify as witnesses.

The young lady’s body was found by her 54-year-old partner, with whom she lived. He had left the apartment for a while to buy feed. When he returned, he found the 24-year-old unconscious, so he notified the EMS. Despite the efforts of the rescuers to bring her back, this was not possible.
