Accused of moral complicity in robbery is the young woman who had reported that she had been raped in a hotel in Thessaloniki, during a New Year’s party in 2022 – a case that occupied public opinion and was closed by the will of the competent Council of Misdemeanors, which exonerated the person involved.

The 26-year-old woman has now been charged – along with four other people, including her employer at the time – following a complaint of abduction and beating filed by the alleged organizer of the party in question.

The indictment includes in addition to the act of felony kidnapping, offenses such as assault and battery.

The reported seizure – according to the plaintiff – had taken place after the initiation of the criminal investigations for the main complaint of rape.

Following a police investigation, the (new) file was forwarded to the Thessaloniki First Instance Prosecutor’s Office and criminal charges were brought.

The five accused persons were referred to apologize to the 6th regular investigator and they got an express deadline. The 26-year-old also appeared before the interrogator, accompanied by her lawyer.
