For the first time, a mysterious network of interconnected underground facilities is revealed
The famous Villa of Papadopoulos is located on one of the peaks of Mount Parnitha. Recently, the biographer of Georgios Papadopoulos, Mr. Manos N. Hatzidakis, in his letter to the press, overturned what we all believed until now about this particular house.
According to the words of Mr. Hatzidakis, this particular building was not built with the intention of being another country residence of the dictator Georgios Papadopoulos, but as refuge for the political and military leadership of the country even in the event of a nuclear war which at that time loomed as a threat to all humanity because of “Cold war” between America and the then Soviet Union.
In his letter there is no mention of underground galleries and secret facilities.
The Up Stories team used a Drone to perform an autopsy on the spot it remains blocked for cars and machines and access is only allowed to hikers and cyclists who have to travel a distance of 6.5 kilometers from the Parnitha Nursery to the lodge and the same amount for their return via a demanding uphill route.
What we have managed to identify and which is presented for the first time is one mysterious network of underground facilities which are connected to each other.
