“The children don’t have toilets, they don’t have an auditorium, when they want to go to the toilet they have to go through the abandoned building” complain the parents of the students
A half-demolished building from the 2019 earthquake lies between a primary school in Aegaleo with the children attending at risk.
Parents of the students came forward in a complaint to SKAI as they say “this situation cannot continue any longer.”
In fact, Mr. Nikos, a parent of a student, stated that there have been many demonstrations but without any response “We have even sent a letter to the prime minister, but nothing has been done.”
“Half the school complex is not working”
“The place is unsuitable and dangerous for our children, half of the school complex is not working. The children have no toilets, no auditorium, when they want to go to the toilet they have to go through the abandoned building. Can someone tell us what the condition of the building is? What exactly is going on? This tragic situation cannot continue. Children do not have basic classrooms”he said and added
“They have not even come to take the necessary measures in order to foreclose the abandoned building which is in a miserable condition. This building it remains open at the risk of our children»
