The government clarifies that this regulation does not modify the way in which notarial acts are drawn up
The permanent abstention that the notaries had decided from next Monday requesting the withdrawal of the “Electronic Real Estate Transfer File” is headed for suspension.
The Ministries of Digital Governance and Justice and the Coordinating Committee of Notarial Associations of Greece after consultations, with a view to activating the reform of the digital transfer of real estate file, concluded as follows:
From 1/1/2024 all notaries in the country they will use the digital property transfer file as a pilot in order to initiate any purchase and sale that may be subject to it, to gather in one place all the required supporting documents and also to digitally submit the copies of the contracts they draw up to the Greek Land Registry.
The government clarifies that this regulation does not modify the way of drawing up notarial acts, the provisions of substantive law, concerning the method of acquisition of the real rights of both the State and individuals, as defined in the text of the Civil Code and in the special laws.
