The mass march for the 50th anniversary of the uprising ended around 8 p.m. Polytechnic. After the end, there were incidents, with a group of people throwing Molotov cocktails at police officers.
The march started from the Polytechnic School of AUTH and it was attended by students, students, workers, unions, movements and organizations. At its head was the block of the Association of Imprisoned Exiled Resistance Resistance 1967-1974.
Block of students, passed in front of their consulate USA, on Tsimiski Street, holding red and Palestinian flags and shouting pro-Palestine slogans. Protesters burned two US flags.
Slogans against the US and solidarity with Palestine were shouted while passing through the consulate and the collectives of the extra-parliamentary Left, while torches were lit.
The KKE, the PAME and the student associations completed the march at the Venizelos statue and the SYRIZA block, at the intersection of Tsimiski and Aristotelous streets.
Part of the bloc of the extra-parliamentary Left and the anti-authoritarian space completed the march in Ionos Dragoumi and the rest, in Egnatia Street, in Syntrivani where forces of Police they had erected a barrier to prevent access to the universities.
At the end of the march, tension prevailed when groups of people threw molotov cocktails and fireworks and the Police forces pushed them into Kamara and the surrounding streets.
