Litigation for rape, breach of authority, robbery, theft and breach of arms law was formed by police officers of the Kavala Security Department, at the expense of a citizen, who was arrested in the city.
According to the Police, the perpetrator, between November 2 and 20, approached two women through an online dating platform and convinced them to meet at short-term rental apartments. During their meeting, the perpetrator pretending to be a policeman at gunpoint forced them to commit lewd acts. Subsequently, in one case, with the use of force, he removed a sum of money from the victim’s possession, while in the other case, leaving the apartment, he removed from the second, a sum of money and two mobile phones.
After a complaint from one of the victims that the perpetrator was trying to meet again, a coordinated operation was organized by the police, he was located and arrested.
As part of the investigations, an imitation pistol and the two removed mobile phones were found and confiscated, which were attributed to the beneficiary.
The file will be submitted to District Attorney of Kavalawhile the preliminary investigation was initiated by the Kavala Security Department.
