A total of 437 calls were received by the Fire Service Operations Center from yesterday to 17:30 today, due to the bad weather Bettina affecting different parts of the country.

Specifically:
• In the Attica Region, the PS Operations Center received 100 calls and 61 tree cuttings and 23 object removals took place.
• In the Central Macedonia Region, the Operations Center of the PS received 65 calls and 43 tree fellings and 9 object removals were carried out, while 43 passengers of a tourist bus that had stopped due to heavy snowfall at the Kerasia Florina T/K were transported to a safe place.
• In the Region of Western Macedonia, the PS Operations Center received 18 calls and 7 tree fellings were carried out and 11 people were transported to a safe place when their vehicles were immobilized due to heavy snowfall.
• In the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, the PS Operations Center received 16 calls and 7 tree fellings, 2 water pumpings and 1 object removal were carried out.
• In the Region of Thessaly, 10 calls were received and 6 tree fellings were carried out
• In the Region of Western Greece, 40 calls were received and 29 tree fellings and 6 object removals were carried out.
• In the Region of Central Greece, 22 calls were received and 17 tree cuttings were carried out.
• In the Ionian Islands Region 28 calls were received and 22 tree fellings and 2 object removals were carried out.
• In the Peloponnese Region, 35 calls were received and 21 tree fellings and 5 object removals were carried out.
• In the Region of Epirus, 25 calls were received and 19 tree cuttings were carried out
• In the Northern Aegean Region, 40 calls were received and 31 tree cuttings and 1 water pumping were carried out.
• In the South Aegean Region, 18 calls were received and 6 tree cuttings, 1 water pumping and 3 object removals were carried out.
• In the Region of Crete, 20 calls were received and 13 trees were cut down.
Finally, the Fire Department calls on citizens to be particularly careful and in the event of weather phenomena to faithfully follow the instructions of the competent authorities.
