From today, Monday, February 7, at 11:00, until Sunday, February 20, 2022, at 23:59, those interested will be able to submit electronic applications for participation in the new online training program in cloud computing services (cloud services) for 1,000 unemployed. The action is implemented in the framework of the cooperation OAED-Microsoft Hellas for the upgrading of the skills of the workforce and the reduction of the digital gap in the labor market.
Specifically, as mentioned in an announcement of OAED, the program “Upgrading and certification of digital skills of unemployed in Microsoft cloud services” concerns the provision of training, with the possibility of obtaining certification, in one of the following high-demand topics: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals and Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals.
The program will benefit 1,000 unemployed registered in the OAED register, aged 18-45, graduates of at least Secondary Education, with knowledge of English, according to the conditions of participation in the call for expressions of interest, which is posted on the website of OAED (www. oaed.gr).
According to the announcement, the program is offered free of charge by Microsoft, in the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility, and includes in-service training, asynchronous training, through a training platform, as well as support, through remote meetings with speakers, for solving questions.
Those who complete the training and participate in the certification exam process will receive a certificate of attendance, while those who successfully complete the certification exam process will receive additional Microsoft certification.
