The investigation into the bloody incident that occurred last October in Dendropotamos, Thessaloniki, in which a 34-year-old Tunisian man lost his life, while a 38-year-old compatriot was injured, announced EL.AS.

A 21-year-old man (citizen), who is being prosecuted for manslaughter, was identified as the perpetrator and arrested with a relevant warrant from the judicial authorities and attempted manslaughter.

According to the case file, the accused allegedly fired a shotgun at his victims after an argument had broken out -for an unknown reason- between local residents and the two foreigners.

The 34-year-old succumbed to his injuries after being hospitalized in a hospital in Thessaloniki. while the accused as the perpetrator was allegedly identified by the 38-year-old (today) injured, through photographs that were shown to him. Information indicates that the second victim has already been deported.

While apologizing to the police officers of the Life Crimes Department of Thessaloniki, the 21-year-old arrested denied any involvement in the episode and consequently the serious charges attributed to him. He is expected to apologize to the Investigator, where he was referred, and to decide on his criminal treatment.
