In two repeated 48-hour nationwide strike actionsstarting tomorrow, Monday, December 4, is calling the trade unions of taxi drivers and marketers, the Panhellenic Federation of Taxis and Marketers (P.O.E.I.A.T.A.), reacting to the tax bill.

Specifically, the Panhellenic Federation of Taxis and Merchants has decided to proceed from tomorrow, Monday 4/12/23 at 5:00 am. and until Friday at 5:00 a.m. in two repeated 48-hour nationwide strike actions.

The Federation calls on all the primary unions of the country to undertake any mobilization they deem necessary, in addition to the strike.

“No taxis on the road, the government must understand that our industry is being destroyed,” she points out in a related announcement.

It is recalled that the Attica Taxi Drivers’ Union (SATA) for its part announced that with a unanimous decision of all factions the escalation of strike actions on December 5 & 6, holding a 48-hour strike and expressing “the anger and indignation of thousands of motorists for the tax government attack”.

In fact, with today’s announcement, SATA clarified that the taxis of Attica will be in circulation on Monday, December 4.

The taxi owners of Attica will strike on December 5 and 6.

“The tax bill under consideration is a clear intention to destroy every form of individual entrepreneurship. It is a brutal murder of human dignity and the values ​​that a democratic country is supposed to provide to its citizens,” he said in his statement.
