At the “desks” the civil servants for the development of digital skills

The second round of training programs for civil servants continues, in the context of modernizing the operation of public administration and training, according to the plan of the Ministers of Interior, Maki Voridis and Digital Government, Kyriakos Pierrakakis. The second cycle is carried out by the National Center for Public Administration and Local Government (EKDDA), in collaboration with Microsoft.

The goal of the programs is the development of basic and specialized digital skills in cloud technologies for the executives of the Public Administration and the Local Self-Government.

So far, the first cycle of programs for the months December 2021 – January 2022, as well as the pilot program in June 2021, have been attended by 750 people, with the percentage of women reaching 28.5%. The 2nd cycle of the educational programs, takes place until March 31, 2022, with the method of modern distance education, while in addition, the participation and the possibility of taking exams to obtain the corresponding Microsoft certification are provided without financial burden of the candidates .

The programs will be implemented in Greek by certified speakers (Microsoft Certified Trainers – MCTs), with many years of experience. They are also interactive, as, in addition to the constant presence and guidance of the speakers, they also include practical workshops (online labs).

The training programs that will take place in the 2nd cycle are: • Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) • Azure Administrator (AZ-104) • Azure Security Technologies (AZ-500) [2] • Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900) • Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) • Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300) • Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900) • Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) • Security , Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) • Security Operations Associate Analyst (SC-200) • Information Protection Administrator Associate (SC-400).

Finally, those interested can register in any other program on the online platform of Microsoft ESI which is not included in this invitation, but in this case it will not be possible to issue a “Release” and “Certificate of Attendance” from the EC. .Δ.Δ.Α. After the training, the possibility of certification by Microsoft is given through the online platform Microsoft ESI (https: ///esi.microsoft.com), as well as the possibility of participating in preparation courses and practice tests.

The training programs are carried out in the framework of the National Alliance for Digital Skills and Employment, the General Secretariat for Digital Governance and Simplification of Procedures, in collaboration with the General Secretariat for Human Resources, through the initiative of Microsoft for GR «GR predicts by 2025 more than 20,000 civil servants will be trained in digital skills (skilling, upskilling, reskilling).
