Earlier than planned, shortly before 10:30 in the morning, the Turkish president arrived in Athens for the meeting with Kyriakos Mitsotakis, as part of the meeting of the 5th Supreme Council of Greece-Turkey Cooperation.
The center of Athens is blocked from strong police forces.
They take place during the official visit of Mr. Erdogan emergency traffic regulations (gradual and temporary stoppage of traffic, as well as prohibition of stopping and parking), in various parts of the road network of the wider area of the Center of Athens, while EL.AS. announced a ban on gatherings during the visit.
