Released Croats have been banned from entering Greece to watch matches
The accused Dinamo Zagreb fans have reached 40 for the bloody incidents in New Philadelphia, with the tragic end for Michalis Katsouris, who are or will be immediately out of prison, following the decision made today by the investigators of the case to accept the release requests of ten other accused Croats.
With today’s decision investigators impose on Croatian organized fans the same restrictive term imposed on their 30 co-accused who have already been released from prison, which concerns the ban on entering Greece for the purpose of watching matches. In addition, the investigative authorities also set the amount of 1,000 euros as a guarantee that each defendant must pay for his release from prison.
According to information, the first released from prison for the August 7th incidents outside the AEK stadium, have returned to Croatia while the judicial authorities will judge in the coming days the rest of the release requests submitted by the foreign defendants. In the hands of the investigators, it seems that more than 90 applications were submitted, while in total, 102 Croatians, two Greeks and one of Albanian origin are accused in the case of what happened in New Philadelphia.
