Traffic regulations ito be applied tomorrow on Poseidon Avenue and to others streets of the Southern Suburbs of Attica due to carrying out a controlled explosion for the neutralization of legacy ammunition.

In particular on road sections in the area of Municipalities of Alimos, Glyfada and Hellinikon-Argyroupoli the following temporary traffic arrangements will be in place:

– Gradual and complete stoppage of vehicle traffic, the Thursday 14/12/2023 during the hours 11.00 to 13.00, on the following road sections:

* Posidonos St., from the intersection with Alimos St. to the height of Vergoti Square in both traffic streams,

* Evryalis Street,

* Theta Street, from its junction with the side street of Posidonos Street to its junction with Ellinikou Street,

* Iota Street,

* Ellinikou Street, from its junction with Theta Street to its junction with Iota Street.

– Prohibition of stopping and parking of vehicles from Wednesday 13/12/2023 at 21.00 to Thursday 14/12/2023 at 13.00 on the following streets as follows:

* Evryalis Street,

* Theta, from the junction with the side street of Posidonos Street to the junction with Ellinikou Street,

* Iota,

* Ellinikou Street, from the height of Theta Street to the height of Iota Street.

The Traffic Authority asks the drivers, in order to serve them better and to avoid additional traffic problems, to choose as alternative routes their movement through Vouliagmeni Street and/or other municipal roads of the Municipalities of Glyfada and Hellinikon – Argyroupoli and to follow the signs and instructions of traffic controllers.
