BSE members undertook initiatives and targeted actions, with the aim of directly providing essential items and technical support, providing human resources, medicines and sanitary materials, fuel, water pumps, digging machines, equipment and disinfection products, food, construction materials, clothing , household equipment, logistical and digital equipment for schools and students, significant discounts for shopping in the area’s multi-stores, etc.

In addition recently, a delegation of the BSE Administration was in Thessaly where he had meetings with the local government, the administrations of local hospitals and health units and with residents with the aim of exploring further possibilities of support in those settlements that have suffered the greatest disasters.

In a statement, the president of the Executive Committee of the BSE, Efthymios Vidalis, emphasized that the Crisis Management Coordinating Committee which has been established jointly by the Association of Thessalian Enterprises and Industrialists (STHEB), the Association of Industries of Thessaly and Central Greece (SVTHSE) and the BSE , will continue to systematically promote to the competent Ministries the needs of local businesses that have suffered significant damage from the disasters”.
