The investigations of the authorities continue into the incidents in Rentis that led to the fatal injury of the 31-year-old police officer Giorgos Lyggeridis, who was buried yesterday, Friday, in his hometown of Thessaloniki.

According to what was conveyed by the officials of the Sub-Directorate for Combating Violence in Sports Venues seem to have evidence in their hands for the 3 “key makers” of the warehouse of the hooligans’ armory that provided the flares used on Rentis on the fateful night of the incidents.

These 3 people are said to be among the 4-5 guides, leaders, influencers as the policemen of the new hooligans and the transferred armies call them. The police officers have also identified the 4-5 people who have a leading role in the hooligan army, among whom is said to be the 26-year-old manager of a well-known trapper, as pointed out by competent sources. Three of them are said to have been at the closed gym in Rentis. The investigation is expected to be completed in a period of 20 days to a month, while the number of accused so far is at least 50.
