Damage to houses, businesses and agricultural lands was caused by the wave of bad weather that hit the wider area of ​​Pyrgos last Saturday night.

In particular, according to the Municipality of Pyrgos, based on the information it has Civil Protection after the damage was recorded, the tornado struck mainly in the areas of Mouteli, Agginara, Leventohori, Hanakia, as well as the wider area of ​​Alfeiou, Poseidonos and Katarrahiou streets, of the Ilian capital.

More detail, in 28 autopsies performed in homesdamage was found to roofs, solar water heaters, chimneys and awnings.

Also, in seven businesses related to livestock units, greenhouses, marble processing, leather trade, etc., major damage was found to their building infrastructure, as well as to six warehouses where they are used to store various items.

Also, extensive damages were found in five agricultural lands with olive trees and orange trees.

At the same time, according to the Municipality of Pyrgos, the owners of another 19 houses in the coastal area of ​​Mouteli are expected to come to Civil Protection in order to declare the damages they have suffered, while the citizens who have been affected by the wave of bad weather are given the opportunity to submit statements, until Wednesday, January 10, at the offices of the Municipality.
