“There is a state of agitation and shock on the part of the accused” said the 39-year-old’s lawyer, Othonas Papadopoulos, on Wednesday morning to SKAI and the show ‘TODAY’.

It is noted that the 39-year-old man is being held together with his 34-year-old friend as perpetrators of the murder of the 41-year-old pregnant woman from Thessaloniki.

“I am in contact with him for many hours in order to complete his position that will be expressed in his apology, to the investigator”, he added

“The truth is that the accomplice of the 39-year-old gives an apology which includes many details and is detailed, of course it has some gaps, ambiguities and a lack of order in the sequence of events. The sure thing is the apology of the 34-year-old co-accused led to the discovery of the body of the unfortunate Georgia, so in this very important part he was accuratesaid Mr. Papadopoulos.

“His original position 39 years old is that it has nothing to do with it and he found out about Georgia when the Authorities were also informed“, he emphasized

“The times the 34-year-old claims he left the house are not proven by the video material”

Regarding the co-accused and the times he claims he was not inside the house, Mr. Papadopoulos stated:

“None of the cameras show the co-accused leaving the house, he himself tells a story: ”that he left the house and then informed him that Georgia was no longer alive, because he had gotten into the car and was not in front of the incident”. The cameras don’t show her leaving the house at the time he claims, she leaves much later, which means thati wants to put himself out of the frame at that particular time but this is not proven by video footage,” he said

Finally, regarding the 39-year-old partner of the 41-year-old Georgia, Mr. Papadopoulos states “According to the position he has formulated from the beginning, my client denies participation in the act”.
