Specifically, from 6 pm on Wednesday, January 10 until 6:45 pm:

– In Artaki, a two-wheeler driver crashed violently into a passenger car.

The man with the motorcycle immediately received first aid from volunteers of the Evia Search and Rescue Team, but he was clearly intoxicated.

As soon as the traffic police and ambulance were notified, the driver of the two-wheeler, who was beaten and covered in blood, got up with difficulty, got into a taxi and left the scene of the accident, leaving his motorcycle lying on the side of the road.

-A little later in the Dokos area, a driver was seriously injured in a collision between two vehicles

-Then, in the area of Panagitsa Chalkida, a car ran over a pedestrian who was trying to cross the road, seriously injuring him.

The fact that all three of these accidents happened very close to each other and at a relatively short kilometer distance (Dokos – Exo panagitsa Artaki) caused suffocation for the rescuers and the traffic police who did not have time to run from one incident to another.

For all three incidents, the Chalkida traffic police is conducting a preliminary investigation.
