The 62-year-old is charged with grand larceny, forgery as well as drug and weapons violations
Vehicle thefts from various regions of Attica did a 62-year-old who was arrested by the police at his home in Koropi.
He had previously done one more vehicle theft in Glyfada, specifically on January 11. The car was located after investigations by Attica Immediate Action police officers, in an outdoor area owned by the accused, where it was immobilized and arrested.
7 additional cases of stolen vehicles were solved, which were found on the property of the accused.
Seized, among others, 7 vehicles, 574 grams of cannabis and a katana sword
The Undercover Security Department of the Southeast Attica Security Sub-Directorate filed a case file against a 62-year-old citizen, who is accused of aggravated theft, forgery as well as violation of drug and weapons laws.
Subsequently, in searches carried out in the outdoor area and in his adjacent residence, in the presence of a judicial officer, the following were found and confiscated:
- 7 additional vehicles (-3- cars and -4- two-wheeled motorcycles), which were found to be stolen,
- 574- grams of cannabis,
- 70 cm hemp seedling,
- fragments of license plates of doubtful authenticity,
- 4 replica weapons (-3- pistols and a revolver),
- 133-rounds, empty pistol magazine, 2 iron fists,
- katana sword,
- wooden gloop, bayonet and -3- knives.
The arrested person, with the case file filed against him, was taken to the competent prosecuting authority.
