The 44-year-old man who was “gassed” with 97 bullets in Neo Kosmos in the early hours of Sunday had a heavy criminal past. According to a report by SKAI, the 44-year-old nicknamed “Ham”, he was a dangerous marked criminal of the “Greek Mafia”.

“They caught him before he caught them” was the characteristic rant of a security officer. What he himself did to “Rambo”, a murder that took place in June 2023 in Korydallos together with his brother-in-law, happened to him. It is also indicative that DNA of both “Rambo” and his brother-in-law were found in a vehicle full of weapons a few hours after their murder. 300 meters from the place of execution of the 44-year-old. In September 2012, he was assigned a death contract for a judicial officer by the “Greek Mafia”. She was the woman who tried the shipowner’s kidnapping Pericles Panagopoulos with the “triandria” accused, the leadership of the “Greek Mafia”. In November 2012 he is arrested for illegal carrying of weapons and remanded in custody for the case of the extortion group a few months earlier, which prevents him from executing the death contract. But on November 22, 2012 an explosion follows at the house of the president of the Appellants in Holargos, i.e. the judicial officer herself.

In 2015, he participates in another extortion group in which three police officers are also accused. In June 2018 in Paleo Faliro, a thug with the nickname “Karaflas – Sambrelas” is murdered, and this murder is attributed, among others, to the 44-year-old.

In October 2018, a woman is murdered, former partner of “Zambon” in Kifissia, the so-called “Bella Mafia”. In retaliation, there was an attempt to kill “Ham” in Piraeus, on the Kondili Coast, which did not succeed on November 29, 2018, when a white van approached the 44-year-old. The gunman fires on the move with a Kalashnikov, but the weapon jams and fires only three to four bullets. The 44-year-old is seriously injured in both the hand and the leg, while the perpetrators burn the vehicle a short distance away in that case as well.
