The crew of the tanker M/T ST. NIKOLAS was visited by the local insurance correspondent (P&I Club) of the ship’s management company
The contacts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the release of the Greek pilot master, who was one of the 19 sailors aboard the tanker St Nicholas upon its capture by an Iranian army unit in Red Sea.
According to information, the Greek ambassador paid a visit to Tehranfiling a formal request for the immediate release of the probationary master.

Earlier, the crew of the tanker M/T ST. NIKOLAS was visited, after permission from the Iranian authorities, by the local correspondent of the insurance body (P&I Club) of the ship’s management company Empire Navigation Inc.
The ST. NIKOLAS remains at anchor in Bandar Abbas, Iran.
According to the company’s latest announcement, the representative met with crew members in order to provide all necessary assistance and confirmed that all sailors are safe and in good health.
