In an ambulance, on the streets of Heraklion, Crete, a healthy baby girl was born yesterday, Wednesday 17/1.

The ambulance crew of the Smile of the Child were called to transport a pregnant woman from her home in Agia Pelagia to the Venizelio Hospital of Heraklion, as the baby she was carrying was ready to be born.

But no one counted on the hurry of the little girl, who did not want to wait until they reached the hospital.

According to cretalive.gr, only a few minutes passed after the transfer had started and the mother informed the rescuers that her little girl was coming.

Immediately they were all unbuttoned for the birth which lasted a short time. After all, the happy mother had experience as she had given birth to three other children. On the way, the rescuers took care of the womb and the newborn girl and delivered them healthy and in excellent condition to the doctors of the Obstetrics Clinic.

The experience was unique, both for the mother who gave birth to her fourth child, and for the ambulance crew who contributed their experience, composure and training so that everything went smoothly.
