At least 107 immigrants were detected in two different incidents dawn southwest of Gavdos in Crete. In particular, a Panamanian-flagged cargo ship was located and seized 34 foreigners who were on a fishing boat in the sea area southwest of Gavdos.

With the coordination of the Joint Operations and Research Center of the port authority, the migrants are transferred to the Good Ports.

In another incident they were spotted and rounded up by Marshall Islands flag cargo ship 73 migrants who were also on board a fishing vessel, 38 nautical miles southwest of Gavdos.

According to the Unified Center for Coordination and Research, the foreigners are expected to be transferred to Ag. Serenity.

Shipwreck in Farmakonisi: Four missing

At the same time, investigations are underway to locate the four migrants who have been missing since Saturday night, when the boat they were on capsized near Farmakonisi.

Twenty migrants were spotted on land.
