How will schools operate in the regional units of Florina, Kozani, Grevena and Kastoria
Due to the strong frost prevailing in the region, many schools in West Macedonia will operate with reduced hours. More specifically, on Wednesday, January 24, with the decisions of the mayors of Florina and Prespa, the schools Primary and Secondary Education will remain closed, while in the municipality of Amyntaio they will operate after 9.15 a.m. All nurseries in the PE Florina.
In PE Kozani and more specifically in the municipalities of Eordaia, Kozani, Servia and Velventou, schools will start at 9.15 am. Kindergartens in all municipalities will operate normally.
In PE of Grevena and in the Municipalities of Grevena and Deskatis the Primary and Secondary Education units will start at 9 am. while the evening high schools will finish their schedule at 8 pm. All daycare centers will operate normally.
In PE of Kastoria and more specifically in the municipalities of Kastoria, Argos Orestikos and Nestorio the school units will start at 9 am while the evening schools in Kastoria will finish their lessons at 9 pm. All daycare centers will operate normally.
