“The prosecutor has a well-founded opinion, even forensically, and it is even consistent with scientific data,” said medical examiner Grigoris Leon
The decision of the public prosecutor regarding the guilt of Roula Pispirigou as the person who gave ketamine to her 9-year-old daughter Georgina, resulting in her death, was commented on Friday morning on SKAI TV and the program SIMERA by medical examiner Grigoris Leon.
He stated that the public prosecutor has a well-founded opinion, even forensically, and it is even consistent with scientific data.
“The matter has been fully understood and from its scientific point of view, I have seen a well-founded view as to why the cause of death recorded by the medical examiner should be accepted, which is the fatal intake of ketamine which obviously leads to death,” he said.
The medical examiner then made it clear in all tones that ketamine is a substance that kills, especially if handled by someone who is not an expert.
“My assessment is that the scientific fact has essentially been proven, what is the correct scientific view. Ketamine kills when in the hands of non-experts and in smaller doses than those administered by an anesthesiologist. This should be a message as thousands of children use ketamine as a drug. Ketamine kills I repeat,” he stressed
