The team “Vengeance Conspiracy” claimed responsibility
The responsibility for the bomb attack that took place in the early hours of Thursday 25/1 at a branch of the National Bank in Petralona, was assumed, through the website of the anti-extortion site, by a group presenting itself under the name “Revenge Conspiracy”.
According to what it mentions in its post, the group proceeded with this attack as “it is no coincidence that the college of private giants, bankers and governments, are the main winners from the permanent crisis that has been hitting the country for years. They privatize all public services that belong to the people, insuring their money in the banks at exorbitant interest rates, getting richer and richer. They play a leading role in auctions, grabbing people’s houses as quickly as possible without regard for the people who have been suffering for years because of them.”
“The key reason we chose to attack this particular bank at 115 3rd Hierarchon Street in Petralona, is the appeal court on 2/2/2024 of comrade – anarchist Tziotzis Fotis, in the context of practical solidarity. This bank was the first financial goal of his action, to continue the conscious path of illegality he chose, “breaking” his license from the prisons of Larissa, not returning to captivity, choosing with dignity to continue walking the paths of freedom and armed struggle” they add.
They warn of another strike
In their post they warn of a new blow, stressing “we could say too much, but we all know the sordid role of banks. So we’ll come back to it after our next hit.”
“Nothing will be left unanswered, judges, prosecutors, cops who happily bring prisoners to and from the courts, remember that no one is alone,” they note in the statement.
